Pasadena Complete Remodel Tour

Kitchen Remodel

Built in the 1960’s, the property belonged to our client’s family and has not been touched in decades. The project was unique and special to us because we did it mostly with our clients being out of state. They were in the process of moving from Manhattan, New York to the suburbs of Pasadena, California during the height of the pandemic. They wanted to make their new home more of their own by changing the layout, upgrading the appliances and updating the finishes.

Above is an image of kitchen and dining room before the remodel. You can see that by changing the layout of the kitchen to an L-shape, it instantly made the kitchen more spacious. Our clients requested to remove the peninsula and create an island instead. We demolished the wall across the window to enlarge the area. We also updated the windows to allow more natural light to come in and give it a modern look.

Master Bathroom Remodel

As seen above, the transformation of this master bathroom is unrecognizable! Again, our clients wanted a more open layout. Since the home was built in the 60’s, the rooms are very compartmentalized. We’ve added a before photo for comparison. To achieve an open and airy look, we removed the wall dividing the vanity and shower. The clients wanted to add a freestanding tub and double vanity sinks. We completely gutted the old vanity and replaced it with a custom-built one with double sinks and a large mirror. We updated the carpet flooring with wood-like tiles for a more luxurious and modern feel. We also extended the bathroom to add a shower, water closet and master closet.
